About Us

The Artist Files Special Interest Group (SIG), part of the Art Libraries Society of North America (ARLIS/NA), seeks to foster communication on the topic of artists’ files (also known as vertical files) — including their collection and management in physical and digital formats — among art information professionals across the organization. Membership is open to all members of ARLIS/NA.
